In this talk, Daniele Catteddu, will describe the challenges that both cloud service providers and customers are facing with compliance, assurance and vendor management.
He will discuss the most pressing issues and the possible solutions to rebalance the focus compliance to security.

It was 2016. Financial Service organisations have overcome their fears. Almost all technology considerations for enabling business agility and cost efficiencies of service delivery point to the cloud. Fast-forward to 2017. While regulators across the globe are supporting the move to cloud by way of guidance and industry consultations, a challenge remain – how do we achieve adequate transparency to enable effective response to emerging and residual security risks? This talk will touch on an approach to leverage the cloud, including technology solutions such as CASBs and industry initiatives from the CSA, to gain improved visibility in the cloud and deriving sufficient intelligence from available data to address cloud security issues, especially those associated with SaaS and API-based delivery models.
